We spent a lovely day out at Great Ayton. We inspected the village school that James Cook attended as a child and found the original site of his parent’s home (now situated in Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne).
Later, Coral and I took the bridal path to the top of Roseberry Topping. Years before I had taken Anne, our middle child, along with Coral’s daughter Jan, on the same treck in 1984.
